Steve Bean is a seasoned professional golf instructor with more than 37 years of experience. Named Golf Instructor of the Year by the Professional Golf Teachers and Coaches Association, Steve operates four golf schools at more than 25 locations in the United States.
Steve began his professional golf career in 1980 as an assistant professional at Rancho Bernardo Inn & Country Club. He has since worked with some of the leading golf instructors in the United States as a staff professional at both Derek Hardy’s California Golf Academy and Hank Haney Golf Schools.
Steve opened his first golf school in 2001 and has since expanded into locations throughout Southern California, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Palm Springs. He is the owner and operator of Southern California Golf Schools, Palm Desert Golf Schools, San Diego Golf Schools, and Golf Schools of Las Vegas.
